Document Description
Planning Project No. 25-19 consists of an application which includes a subdivision map, a request to prezone the subject property, and a request to annex the subject property to the City of Fowler ("Project"). The site consists of Assessor's Parcel Number 343-040-02 ("Project site"), a parcel of approximately 39.67 acres. In order for the proposed subdivision to be developed in the City of Fowler, the City Council has initiated annexation of the property and approved Ordinance No. 2026-01, prezoning the Project site to the R-1-6 City of Fowler mapping designation, with an R-3 implementing zone district. While the City Council initiated the annexation of the property and approved the aforementioned ordinance to prezone the property, the City Council must wait to take action on the Project’s proposed subdivision map until the site's Williamson Act Contract is cancelled. The initiation of annexation and Ordinance 2026-01 are consistent with the City's General Plan and the previously certified General Plan Environmental Impact Report pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines Section 15183.
