Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-MOD-63461-R1), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, the project Applicant, City of Alturas. The project is limited to horizontal directional drilling (HDD) under the North Fork Pit River, South Fork Pit River, and an unnamed ephemeral tributary to the Pit River to lay a new pipeline to pump raw wastewater to offsite treatment ponds and land application areas for the City of Alturas (City). The project will include three HDD bores of approximately 3,000 feet each at an approximate depth of 60 to 80 feet deep.
