Document Description
The California Department of Parks and Recreation (State Parks) is a Responsible Agency for this project under CEQA. This project is set to receive financial assistance from the National Park Service’s Land and Water Conservation Fund Program, and State Parks administers the LWCF funds to approved projects. The Project will create the new D & Clay Streets Neighborhood Park in the City of Hayward. Construct new .153 mile segment of paved Foothill Trail, natural play area, open area for sports and games, picnic areas, a bridge, walking paths, resting areas, benches and preservation of Sulphur Creek.
