The project consists of a comprehensive update to Title 17 (Zoning) of the Shasta Lake Municipal Code, adoption of an updated Official Zoning Map, and related amendments to the General Plan Land Use Diagram and associated General Plan provisions.
The project was undertaken to implement the City's General Plan, improve consistency between General Plan land use designations and zoning regulations, modernize development standards and procedures, and establish updated zoning regulations applicable throughout the City.
