Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number YUB-52471-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Three Rivers Levee Improvement Authority.
The project is limited to levee raising and extending, modification of the Goldfield Embankment into a new levee structure, raising four segments totaling approximately 2 miles of the Yuba River South Levee, raising two segments, totaling approximately 1.2 miles of the Feather River East Levee, raising approximately 1 mile of the Bear River Setback, and Bear River North Levees, a raise on the entire 5.9-mile-long Western Pacific Interceptor Canal (WPIC) West Levee, a raise to the entire 300-foot-long Olivehurst Detention Basin (ODB) Ring, dewatering, regrading, landside fills, excavation, trenching, boring, and the construction of wind-wave buffers. Proposed improvements will occur along a total of up to approximately 10 miles of five existing and newly created Reclamation District 784 levees.
