Document Description
The Applicant proposes operating the ion exchange treatment facility for PFAS removal at Wells T7, U4 and U6. The new PFAS treatment system will consist of two trains of ion exchange vessels (4 vessels total, operated in lead-lag configuration) to be approximately 16 feet in height and 12 feet in diameter, two prefilter assemblies, on-site drainage, and on and off-site water piping and electrical upgrades. The PFAS treatment system will include well head improvements at T7 and U6 wells, which will include pump, motor and electrical upgrades at each well site. The effluent from the IX vessels will receive chloramination treatment at the Six Wells Disinfection Facility (onsite). The treatment facility is equipped with the associated electrical equipment, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system, and water quality measuring equipment.
