The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS-SMO-61525-R3, pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, Coastside Land Trust.
The project involves constructing beach access stairs connecting to a recently completed segment of the California Coastal Trail for public use at the Wavecrest blufftops in Half Moon Bay, CA, replacing casual beach access trails that have contributed to blufftop erosion, vegetation disruption, and unsafe access for visitors as well as redirecting blufftop drainage into the channel below and restoring riparian vegetation.
