Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-SDO-34398-R5 (Agreement), pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the City of Oceanside. The Project involves enhancement of the existing marsh in the Slough and restoration of marsh and transitional uplands in the adjacent properties. Goals of the project include improving and restoring habitat for native species, providing increased habitat resiliency to sea-level rise, improving water quality in the Slough, and enhancing recreational enjoyment of the area. The Agreement is being amended to authorize additional temporary impacts to wetland and riparian habitats as a result of equipment access needs.
