Document Description
LACMTA proposes to implement a light rail transit project that would extend the C Line (Green) from the existing Redondo Beach (Marine) Station to the Torrance Transit Center. The Final EIR evaluates the Proposed Project, which would be an elevated/street-level alignment within the Metro-owned ROW. Two options are considered between the Redondo Beach (Marine) Station and 190th Street: 1) Trench Option, with the alignment located within the Metro ROW in a below grade trench, and 2) Hawthorne Option, with the alignment located on an elevated structure parallel to I-405 and within the median of Hawthorne Boulevard.
