Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed and issued Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-RIV-56647-R6, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the City of Beaumont. The Project is limited to the construction of a 539.9-acre recreational/entertainment commercial area and 277.1-acre open space area. The Project will utilize the existing 16 culverts under SR-60 as discharge locations for the Project site, while the runoff from the proposed buildings, parking lots, and road improvements will be collected by a proposed drainage system consisting of catch basins, grated inlets, storm drainpipes, four detention basins, and one bioretention basin. The overall 0.43 acres of permanent impacts to 1602 fish and wildlife resources result from the industrial development and construction of manufactured slopes at Drainages B, C, E, G, I, L, and Tributaries I-1, I-2, and I-3.
