Document Description
The Project is subject to an Addendum Environmental Impact Report #3 (Addendum EIR) based on the previously certified 2021 Yolo County Central Landfill Permit Revisions EIR (SCH #2020080465), certified on November 9, 2021. The Addendum EIR was adopted by the Yolo County Board of Supervisors on May 26, 2026, to authorize clarification and amplify information pertaining to expanded biogas uses contained in the Certified EIR. This clarification is found to be consistent with the Project elements analyzed in the 2021 EIR regarding the use of new equipment and operations for the use of landfill gas (LFG) and biogas to produce renewable natural gas (RNG) to continue producing electricity. It has been determined that there are no new significant environmental effects and no substantial increase in the severity of previously identified significant environmental effects associated with the LFG and biogas beneficial use project.
