Document Description
On 6/6/2025, The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) issued this Restoration Management Permit (RMP) pursuant to section 1670 of the Fish and Game Code to the Tahoe Resource Conservation District. The Project is designed to physically remove aquatic invasive plants (AIP) via synchronized survey and control efforts and repeated treatment of infestations on an annual basis to reduce and eliminate both source populations and satellite infestations. The Project intends to restore up to approximately 1,000 acres of aquatic habitat while also identifying and eliminating new AIP infestations before they become established within the Project Area. AIP removal and exclusion will be conducted using diver-assisted suction removal, hand pulling, and benthic barriers.
