A comprehensive update to the City of Milpitas Zoning Ordinance to reorganize and modernize the zoning regulations, incorporate best practices in land use planning, and ensure consistency with current City policies and federal and state law. This includes the addition of a new Title XIII - Zoning to the Milpitas Municipal Code, repeal of the existing Zoning Ordinance (Title XI, Chapter 10), and minor amendments to various other sections of the municipal code for consistency with the updated Zoning Ordinance. The project also includes minor amendments to Milpitas 2040 General Plan and the zoning map for consistency with the updated Zoning Ordinance.
