Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number SUT-58138-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Sutter Butte Flood Control Agency. The project is limited to removing sediment that has accumulated at the Yuba City Boat Ramp and the confluence of the Yuba and Feather rivers. The project is divided into two phases and includes the removal of approximately 315,600 cubic yards (cy) of dredged material within an approximately 28-acre area. Phase 1 was completed on October 27, 2021 under EPIMS Notification Number SUT-14558-R2 and included the removal of approximately 65,600 cy of dredged material within an approximately 14.41-acre dredging area. This Agreement covers Phase 2, which includes the removal of an additional approximately 250,000 cy within an approximately 14.40-acre dredging area immediately downstream to further restore fish passage and improve conveyance at the confluence of the Yuba and Feather rivers.
