A proposal to expand an existing poultry (chicken) farm located at 19258 14th Avenue, Hanford, Assessor's Parcel Number 028-240-026. This application is a resubmittal of a previously approved project (Conditional Use Permit No. 17-13). The expansion includes increasing the flock size by 480,000 chickens, taking the total count from 280,000 chickens to approximately 760,000 chickens. The proposal also includes a new incinerator, the construction of 16 poultry barns (54’ x 500’ x 15’ each) totaling 432,000 square feet of new poultry structure on site, and the establishment of two mobile homes to be used as farm employee housing incidental to an existing single-family residence. The entire project will be completed in one phase.
