Document Description
Addendum No. 1 to Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) No.2351 (SCH No. 2020020363)– The proposal is a revision to the southern portion of the Perris Valley Storm Drain Channel Trail – Phase 2 (approved by the City on April 20, 2020). The two key changes in design are 1) to the drainage crossings of the 7th Street Channel (formerly referred to as G Street) and the San Jacinto River Channel after its confluence with the Perris Valley Storm Drain Channel and 2) a realignment of the trail from the west side to the east side of the San Jacinto River Channel south of the I-215 freeway. Instead of spanning these two drainages, the Revised Project proposes a low-flow Arizona crossing at-grade at the confluence of the 7th Street Channel and the San Jacinto River Channel immediately downstream of I-215 freeway, with the trail then extending out of the channel to the eastern side of the river.
