Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The Applicant has applied for financial assistance from the State Water Board’s Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program for the Project referred to internally as Western Trunk Line Project. The components of the Project, to be funded by the State Water Resources Control Board, include the abandonment of approximately 11,900 feet of existing riveted steel main, the installation of approximately 11,900 feet of new 36-inch main consisting of earthquake resistant ductile iron pipe and welded steel, and the replacement and installation of approximately 7,000 feet of varying smaller diameter mainlines to tie into the existing distribution system. The Project is identified as Phase 2A and is part of a larger, multi-phase project, which is being carried out in three stages: Phase 1, Phase 2A and Phase 2B. All of the project phases are evaluated in the same Mitigated Negative Declaration titled Western Trunk Line Project.
