Document Description
The changes that will be authorized by the proposed permit include:
1. Addition of a Transfer/Processing activity for the operation of a Treated Autoshredder Waste (TASW) Material Recovery Facility (MRF).
2. Inclusion of a Permitted Maximum Tonnage limit of 13,462 Tons Per Week of TASW for processing at the MRF.
3. Inclusion of the MRF’s design capacity of 4,000 TPD.
4. An increase in Maximum Traffic Volume Per Day for the combined disposal, composting and transfer/processing activities from 313 Vehicles Per Day to 389 Vehicles Per Day.
5. Extension of estimated landfill closure date from the year 2030 to 2040 due to recovery of landfilled TASW material.
