Document Description
This Project is designed to promote conservation, enhancement and recovery of coho salmon by improving stream connectivity (via grading), installing large wood and boulder in-stream habitat structures, beaver dam analogs (BDAs), and riparian plantings, all of which are intended to add complexity to the stream channel. On August 1, 2025, The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) issued this Restoration Management Permit (RMP) pursuant to section 1670 of the Fish and Game Code to the California Trout. This Project is designed to promote conservation, enhancement and recovery of coho salmon by improving stream connectivity (via grading), installing large wood and boulder in-stream habitat structures, beaver dam analogs (BDAs), and riparian plantings, all of which are intended to add complexity to the stream channel. CDFW has determined that the Project is a Qualifying Restoration Project pursuant to section 1671(d)(1) of the Fish and Game Code, and the Project is expected to result in a substantial, cumulative benefit to native fish, wildlife, or their habitat, or any combination thereof. This notice is to advise that CDFW issued the above-described RMP and has made the following determinations regarding the project pursuant to California Code of Regulations section 15096, subdivision (i):
