Document Description
On July, 11, 2025, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) issued a Restoration Management Permit (RMP) pursuant to section 1670 et seq. of the Fish and Game Code to the Salmonid Restoration Federation for the Project. This Project will construct an off-channel storage pond and storage tanks that will allow for water to be withdrawn in the wet season and subsequent forbearance during the dry season. The landowner currently withdraws surface water during the dry season through a riparian water right, and the Project will result in forbearance during the dry season which will improve flow and water quality for aquatic species in Tenmile and Streeter Creeks. CDFW has determined that the Project is a qualifying restoration project pursuant to section 1671(d)(1) of the Fish and Game Code, and the Project is expected to result in a substantial, cumulative benefit to native fish and other aquatic species. This notice is to advise that CDFW issued the above-described RMP and has made the following determinations regarding the Project pursuant to California Code of Regulations section 15096, subdivision (i):
