Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-SBR-58560-R6), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the Project Applicant, SoCal Gas. The Project includes the placement of alternating current (AC) mitigation systems along sections of SoCal Gas’s pipeline L235 and L3000. AC mitigation systems includes using 2/0 copper grounding cables placed within 10 feet of the pipeline to assist in reducing corrosion. The Project also includes the instillation of solid state decouplers devices to mitigate AC voltage and coupon test stations to assess and monitor levels of AC interference.
