Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number NEV-56209-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, City of Nevada City (City). The project is limited to the installation of a new 12-foot-long culvert with 24-inch diameter and 6-feet of rock slope protection at the inlet and outlet in a small unnamed intermittent stream. The installation of these drainage components will require the removal of Himalayan blackberry shrubs. The project is part of an initiative to construct an approximately 1-mile-long multi-use trail on the northern flank of Sugarloaf Mountain, from the North Bloomfield Road and State Highway 49 intersection to the existing access road near the top of the mountain.
