Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-CCA-53210-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Richland.
The project is limited to the installation of a bio retention water quality basin and the installation of a 60-inch diameter storm drain outfall with flared end sections. The pipe will be laid at the design grade and extended towards the creek bank. The bank slope will be excavated, and a layer of fabric will be placed underneath along the slope. The slope will then be excavated to 49 feet and rock will be placed and filled back up to existing grade. The outgoing flow from the storm drainpipe will then be dissipated by the rock apron along the bank slope and at the base of Sand Creek, which are design elements intended to reduce the potential for erosion and scour.
