Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed
Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number YOL-43051-R2, pursuant to
section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Department of Water
Resources (DWR).
In 2017, DWR implemented the Storm Damage DWR Rehabilitation (SDDR) Program to identify
and repair damaged levees. Phase 6 includes erosion repair at Site 97, along the Sacramento
River. Vegetation will be cleared from project site and the bank will be recontoured to its original
slope. Geotextile fabric will be installed on top of contoured bank. Launch rock, soil-filled rockfill,
topsoil, and willow pole cuttings will be installed. All disturbed areas will be reseeded with a
native mix.
