Approval of Minor Alteration No. WA2022043, under California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Article 3, Section 6, for work within an adopted plan of flood control: To install an approximately 550-foot-long seepage berm and toe drain located along the right landside bank of Butte Slough. The project is located approximately seven miles west of the town of Sutter in Sutter County, California. The project consists of excavating out a key trench along the landside levee slope and near the landside levee toe and excavating the toe drain. The seepage berm material consists of layers of random fill, filter sand, drain blanket, toe rock and geotextile fabric which will be placed and keyed
into the excavated levee section. The surface of the berm will receive a surface treatment consisting of native topsoil which will be seeded. Trees within the limits of the project area will also be removed.
