A hearing to consider a request by Kanadevia Inova (KI) To amend Conditional Use Permit (CUP) DRC2015-00122 and modify the MND to reflect an increase in weekly tonnage from 850 tons per week (tpw) to 950 tpw and increase the annual tonnage from 36,500 tons annually to 42,900 tons annually. Additionally, the applicant is requesting to expand the existing building footprint by 1,500 square-feet (sf) to implement food depackaging equipment. The modification to the MND will enable KI to request a revision to the current Solid Waste Facilities Permit. The site is within the Industrial land use category and is located at 4300 Old Santa Fe Road, approximately 850 feet east of Hoover Avenue and Old Santa Fe Road, south of the City of San Luis Obispo. The project site is within the San Luis Sub Area (north) of the San Luis Obispo Planning Area.
