Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement No. EPIMS-ORA-36825-R5, pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, Los Cerritos Wetlands Authority, as represented by Salian Garcia. The Project will restore and create subtidal, tidal marsh, salt panne, intertidal wetlands, transitional wetland, and upland habitats in the Los Cerritos Wetlands adjacent to the San Gabriel River. Restoration and enhancement will occur over 61.29 acres of stream habitat. This will be accomplished through grading; hydraulic reconnection with the San Gabrial River and tidal influence; invasives removal; and native revegetation. The Project will also remediate contaminated soil and groundwater on site.
