Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (SF) of mature canopy located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Numbers (APNs): 017-350-058-00, -057 and -056. The applicant is seeking a Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-872) and is also seeking an Adult-Use Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) also including proposed Self-Transport Type 13 Distribution license from the DCC. Cultivation activities are approved to include approx. 8,001sqft of mature canopy to be installed within an approx. 13,000sqft (50’x137’x140’x130’) previously disturbed flat area in (283) pots with 6’ diameter canopy each otherwise to be replaced by 6’ hoop rows and raised beds with the 6’ canopy area being measured in the same footprint. Supporting infrastructure is approved to include an existing 24.5’x40’ shop for immature, processing and harvest storage; proposed 10’x10’ compost area, proposed 20’x40’ immature canopy area, two (2) 8.5’x8.5’ sheds for ag chemical storage and fuel storage; a permitted onsite groundwater well, two (2) 2,500-gallon water storage tanks and proposed two (2) 2,500-gallon water storage tanks. Proposed activities are approved to include minimal construction on previously disturbed areas as detailed above. Power for the project is provided by TPUD and there is a permitted septic onsite to serve the project’s wastewater needs. A more detailed description can be found in the Appendix C. SPECIAL NOTES: 1. Option 1 including ABR, CDP-25-67 was formally abandoned 11/17/2025; this determination includes approval of Option 2 only, with all proposed mature canopy on APN 017-350-058. 2. Future plans to expand mature canopy up to the allowable 10,000sqft on additional “space directly north and east of the residence”, are not included with approval of this determination, at this time..
