Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (SF) of mature canopy located in Trinity County on Assessor's Parcel Number (APN): 019-350-004-000. The applicant is seeking a Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-510) with proposed transition to Small Mixed-Light from the County and currently holds an Adult-Use Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL20-0001683, Expires on 2025-11-17) with proposed transition to Small Mixed-Light from the DCC. Cultivation activities are approved to include approx. 10,000 SF of mature canopy in (195) 5'x5' outdoor boxes for mature canopy. Existing supporting infrastructure is approved to include two (2) 12'x42' temporary areas for immature canopy that will transition into hoop houses, a 1,000-gallon, two (2) 2,500- gallon, and a 5,000-gallon water storage tanks; a 275-gallon nutrient mixing tank; a 18'x43' composting area for cannabis waste, also including a 10'x20' and 10'x10' compost area; a 7'x8' shed for agricultural chemical and pesticide storage; an approx. 6'x8' shed for ag chemical, fuel, generator storage and two (2) 10'x20' shipping containers for processing and harvest storage. The project proposes to replace the outdoor boxes and immature area with five (5) 40'x100' greenhouses where two and one half (2 1/2) greenhouses will house mature canopy (10,000 SF) and two and one half (2 1/2) greenhouses will house immature canopy (10,000 SF) for future transition to Mixed-light license. Project development will require grading with heavy equipment in the previously disturbed area. Development will not increase the disturbed footprint; no additional tree or vegetation removal is proposed. There is a permitted septic system onsite that services the project's wastewater needs; power is provided by a 50-horsepower generator and solar pump; and the project will utilize two (2) permitted onsite groundwater wells. A more detailed project description can be found in the Appendix C Checklist.
