Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (SF) of mature canopy located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN): 016-200-024-000. The applicant currently holds a Small Mixed-Light Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-124) with proposed transition to Small Outdoor from the County and also currently holds an Adult Use Small Mixed-Light Tier 1 Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL19-0001564, Expires on 2026-02-12) with proposed transition to Small Outdoor from the DCC. Cultivation activities are approved to include approx. 10,000sqft of mature canopy in five (5) proposed 20’x100’ greenhouse to replace the existing sixteen (16) hoop houses with various dimensions, including: two (2) 80’x6’, two (2) 68’x6’, two (2) 76’x6’, two (2) 65’x6’, a 63’x6’, a 55’x6’, two (2) 60’x6’, two (2) 75’x’6, a 35’x6’and a 73’x6’ hoop houses, and fourteen (14) boxes of various dimensions, including: nine (9) 5’x5’, three (3) 3’x3’, and two (2) 6’x6’ boxes. Existing support infrastructure is approved to include a permitted onsite groundwater well, an 8’x20’ shipping container for processing and harvest storage; an 8’x8’ composting area; a 10’x12’ shed for agricultural chemical and pesticide storage located on APN 016-200-050-000 and shared with CCL-473; a 15’x36’ area for immature canopy delineated inside a 30’x36’ greenhouse on APN 016-200-050-000 and shared with CCL-473; there is a 2,500-gallon and 1,000-gallon tank for water storage. Additional propose activities include installation of a 20’x40’ greenhouse for immature canopy; and two (2) 10’x12’ sheds: one for harvest storage and one for petroleum storage. Installation of the greenhouses will involve grading under 20,000 total, and vegetation removal; the site was assessed by a Registered Professional Forester (RPF) who determined that the proposed development is not timberland, therefore a CalFire Less Than Three Acre Conversion is not required. A permitted onsite septic system will be utilized for the project’s wastewater needs; and power for the project is provided by Trinity PUD.
