Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Amendment #2 to Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number SAC-18909-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, the City of Sacramento. Amendment #2 changes the Compensatory Measures to allow the Permittee to purchase suitable mitigation credits from a CDFW-approved mitigation bank to substitute for a majority of the restoration efforts required in Measure 3.1. The Permittee has experienced difficulties in restoring the project area and has only managed to restore the 0.07 acres of riparian habitat out of the 0.24 acres required. The remaining 0.17 acres of riparian habitat will be purchased from a mitigation bank.
