The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS-MER-57015-R4, pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, Merced County Department of Public Works. The Project involves activities related to the demolition of the existing Quinley Avenue Bridge over Black Rascal Creek and replacement with a three-span bridge structure to provide improved safety and operations. The new bridge superstructure will be 5.5 feet wider and 16 feet longer the existing bridge and be constructed within the same footprint as the existing bridge. Project activities also include grading and installation of rock slope protection.
