The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board is funding the Project referred to internally as Alvarado Trunk Sewer Phase IV. The Project involves replacing approximately one mile of gravity trunk sewer using open trench and trenchless methods. The Project also includes the installation of manholes, revegetation, pavement restoration, concrete replacement, signal loop replacement and curb ramp installation. PROJECT NUMBER: 8658-110

The project alignment generally follows Interstate 8 (1-8) from Fairmount Avenue to the City of San Diego/City of La Mesa border on Alvarado Road west of 70th Street. The project will impact portions of the following streets: Fairmount Avenue, Mission Gorge Road, Zephyr Lane, Adobe Falls Road, and Alvarado Road. The project site is located within the Navajo and College Area Community Planning Areas and City Council Districts 7 and 9.
