Document Description
The Applicant proposes to operate a new water treatment system on urban land for the treatment and remediation of contaminated groundwater. The system would deploy a combination of hydrogen peroxide injection, ultraviolet light exposure, granular activated carbon filtration, and further disinfection to meet safe drinking water standards as outlined by the State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Drinking Water. Treated water will be pumped back into the potable water distribution system and reduce the potential for contaminated water to spread in the environment.
