Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has issued an Extension and Amendment to Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS- SDO-16574-R5), pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, San Diego County Water Authority.
The Amendment will implement the updated San Luis Rey HMA Wetland Restoration Plan to establish advanced permittee responsible mitigation site for compensatory mitigation for use exclusively by the San Diego County Water Authority. The project description is amended to capture resulting temporary impacts from grading to 0.10 acre of arrowweed scrub, 0.52 acre of Arundo scrub, and 0.37 acre of southern cottonwood willow riparian forest. Restoration of the site will result in approximately 11.85 acres of southern cottonwood willow riparian forest, 5.27 aces of southern sycamore woodland, 2.57 acres of coast live oak woodland, 1.89 acres of mulefat scrub, 11.51 acres of coast live oak woodland, and 13.18 acres of Diegan coastal sage scrub on the approximately 49-acre property.
