Document Description
CDPR has approved an HCP supporting its federal Endangered Species Act incidental take permit (ITP) application for park units managed by the Oceano Dunes District. The ITP authorizes incidental take of federally listed animal species resulting from lawful activities for which CDPR has responsibility within the 5,005-acre HCP area, including public use and recreation, resource, and park management. The HCP addresses western snowy plover, California least tern, southwestern pond turtle, California red-legged frog, western spadefoot, tidewater goby, marsh sandwort, La Graciosa thistle, Nipomo Mesa lupine, Gambel's watercress, surf thistle, and beach spectaclepod.
