Document Description
The 2019 Final EIR evaluated construction and operation of the VenturaWaterPure Project that included the construction of up to six groundwater wells in the Oxnard Plain Basin. The proposed groundwater wells would be installed to comply with potable reuse permitting requirements and to monitor water quality in the groundwater basin. Since the certification of the 2019 EIR, the final configuration of these wells has been determined through groundwater modeling. The new location for these wells is located north of the previously identified location. The new wells will consist of an existing nested monitoring well, two new monitoring wells, and three new injection wells in the Oxnard Plain groundwater basin. This Addendum describes these project modifications, evaluates their construction and operation, and concludes that no new significant impacts would result.
