Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS-MER-60737-R4, pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, Merced Irrigation District. The Project includes activities related to the reconstruction of the Northside Canal Flume 5 over an unnamed ephemeral stream. Specific activities include grading, removal of the existing elevated wooden flume structure, installation of a new canal embankment, construction of a new concrete culvert, and installation of riprap. Project activity will occur within one work season. The new culvert, new embankment and concrete canal will be constructed within the alignment of the existing wooden flume structure.
