Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Notification No. EPIMS-MER-63650-R4, pursuant to
Fish and Game Code section 1602, to Merced Irrigation District. The Project includes activities related to the reconstruction of the Northside Canal Flumes 3 and 4 over unnamed ephemeral streams. Specific activities include grading, removal of the
existing elevated wooden flume structure, installation of a new canal embankment, construction of a new concrete culvert, installation of access road over new embankment, installation of riprap, and vegetation removal. The new culvert, new embankment and concrete canal will be constructed within the alignment of the existing wooden flume structure.
