Document Description
The project consists of installing approximately 400-linear-feet of permanent 18-inch steel waterline and removing approximately 420-linear-feet of temporary 16-inch High-Density Polyethylene bypass watermain.
The project and related recommended actions are within the scope of the project in the Environmental Reevaluation/Addendum to the Mitigated Negative Declaration/Finding of No Significant Impact (MND) prepared and adopted by Caltrans as lead agency for their State Route 1 Trancas Creek Bridge Replacement project previously reviewed and considered by the Los Angeles County Board of
Supervisors on June 9, 2020. The proposed Trancas Creek Crossing Permanent Waterline (Phase II) project is within the assumptions for construction and operation analyzed in the Addendum to the MND, which described the installation and proposed removal of the temporary bypass pipe.
