Document Description
After the approval of the Student Housing Project as Amended by Addendum No. 1 in July 2024, Campus began developing the construction methodology, which identified the modular building system as being the most efficient and cost-effective. Cal Poly determined that increasing the maximum building heights would eliminate the need to construct all nine residence hall buildings while maintaining the same number of student beds, as established for the Student Housing Project as Amended by Addendum No. 1. As such, the proposed modified project consists of eight residence hall buildings with building heights up to 10 stories in addition to minor changes to the building layout and orientation. These modifications are reflective of achieving cost and schedule efficiencies through redesign of the buildings structural components. All other components of the Student Housing Project as Amended by Addendum No. 1
