Document Description
Project proposes operation of a sand and gravel mining operation and construction and operation of aggregate processing facilities on an approx. 320 acre area four miles south of the City of Gilroy, CA. The project requires adoption of a Reclamation Plan and issuance of a Conditional Use Permit for 30-year operational term of the quarry. The remaining 6,083 acres of the Sargent Ranch would be maintained in their current conditions and would not be utilized for mining, processing, or reclamation activities.
