Document Description
The Proposed Revised Modified Revised Project ("Project") is similar to the originally approved Project, approved by the District on June 27, 2019 (SCH #2016031038). The Project proposes an average annual production of five million gallons per day of potable water from slant wells drilled at Doheny State Beach, in addition to associated raw water conveyance lines and various related improvements to Doheny State Beach campground, and a desalination facility on existing District property located approximately ¼-mile inland, adjacent to San Juan Creek. The Project also includes an Energy Center with various renewable energy facilities, and minor improvements to Paseo Costa Sur (access road). At its May 14, 2026 Board meeting, the District approved EIR Addendum No. 2 which addresses various minor design changes from 2019, and approve the Project
