The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The Applicant has applied for financial assistance from the State Water Board’s Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program for the Project referred to internally as Doheny Ocean Desalination. The Project includes a subsurface water intake system (beach wells), a raw ocean water conveyance pipeline, a desalination facility, a concentrate (brine) disposal system, a product water storage tank and distribution system, appurtenant facilities, and offsite electrical supply.3
