Document Description
The proposed Project amends the General Plan Land Use Element, including amendments to the text and Land Use Plan to expand areas designated for mixed-use, clarify Specific Plan land use designations, increase maximum residential densities permitted in mixed-use areas, and redesignated existing Mobile Home community; amends the Zoning Code to repeal and readopt Chapter 17.260 relating to mixed uses and add related definitions, revise various sections of Title 17 to eliminate references to outdated overlay references, amend the Housing Overlay Zone to be consistent with State law, make changes to bring the Zoning Code consistent with the General Plan, and revise regulations relating to drive-through facilities; and amends the Westminster Zoning Map to apply existing zones and the new MU zone to specific parcels within the City.
