Document Description
The Project proposes installation of lining within existing pipelines, upsizing of select pipe segments, and manhole rehabilitation along these alignments. Cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liner would be installed through the 770 linear feet (LF) of 10-inch diameter pipeline that crosses private property between Wing Avenue and Magnolia Avenue. One location requiring spot repair would be replaced with approximately five LF of 10-inch Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) pipe. Three manholes would be rehabilitated, including via re-grouting and lining, installation of a new manhole cover, and refinishing of an existing pipeline channel.
Approximately 500 LF of sewer would be upsized from 10-inch to 12-inch diameter within Magnolia Avenue, with an approximately 16-inch section being steel encased and installed with a cathodic protection test station. The existing sewer would be removed. Two manholes would be rehabilitated and a new manhole would be created.
Within the easement between Magnolia Avenue and SR-67, 372 LF of 8-inch sewer would be upsized to a 10-inch diameter PVC sewer and constructed in parallel to the existing sewer to be abandoned in place. Four manholes would be constructed while one along the existing pipeline would be removed and another would be abandoned in place. An 8-inch PVC segment would be installed with a sewer repair coupling at the location of the removed manhole.
Approximately 791 LF of CIPP liner would be installed in the existing 8-inch sewer within Graves Avenue. Before installation of the CIPP liner, an approximately 100-LF portion of the existing 8-inch vitrified clay pipe would be replaced with an 8-inch PVC pipe. Four existing manholes would be rehabilitated with new grout and linings, with one of these requiring a replacement frame and cover. Two manholes would be newly installed just beyond (to both the north and south) the portion of the sewer that would be lined with the Project.
