Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-HUM-66718-R1C), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, the project Applicant, Mathew Stempson.
The Project is limited to eight encroachments. Three proposed encroachments are to upgrade existing road/stream crossings. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the existing culverts, replacement with new properly sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. Three encroachments are to decommission road/stream crossings on a legacy logging road. Work will include removal of existing culverts, defining new channel dimensions, and armoring as necessary. One proposed encroachment is to restore a stream channel that currently diverts down a ditch. The final encroachment is for remediation of a cultivation site with a culvert running beneath it.
