Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-HUM-61866-R1C), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, the project Applicant, Chris Meador. The Project is limited to four encroachments. One proposed encroachment is to repair an access road failure and decommission the associated road. Two proposed encroachments are to upgrade existing stream crossings: one upgrade from a natural unimproved fill crossing to an armored fill crossing and the other crossing will upgrade an existing 36” diameter culvert to a minimum 48” diameter culvert. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the existing culverts, replacement with new properly sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. The final proposed encroachment is for the decommissioning of a small pond, showing signs of failure in the impoundment berm.
