Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board is funding the Project referred to internally as Existing Plant Rehabilitation Project. The Project would rehabilitate the Water Pollution Control Plant's (WPCP's) existing secondary, tertiary, and disinfection facilities to provide reliable treatment through the Master Plan planning period. These areas include the primary effluent pipeline, oxidation pond facilities, fixed growth reactors, air flotation tanks, dual media filters, chlorine contact tanks, power, and process control. The Project’s rehabilitation activities also include integration of the existing WPCP control system and construction of a portion of the perimeter flood wall.
