Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed
Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number COL-51955-R2, pursuant to
section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, the Department of Water
Resources.
The project is limited to the removal of excess sediment on the Sacramento River side of the
Colusa Weir to restore elevation to United States Army Core of Engineers (USACE) as-built
design profile. Removal of sediment will occur over an area of approximately 16.5 acres and
remove up to 50,000 cubic yards (CY) of sediment the first year and less than 25,000 CY
annually through 2030.
